Chthonians

Chthonians are giant burrowing worms—though not as large as Dholes—with tentacles for a "head". They are telepathic and can create earthquakes at will.

Children of the Wind

The Children of the Wind are bloated, corpse-like monstrosities, with stumps for limbs. They are always accompanied by howling, gale-force winds.

Brothers of Chaugnar Faugn

The Brothers of Chaugnar Faugn—both lesser and greater—are simply smaller versions of him.

Chakota

The Chakota is a six-foot-tall worm-like mass of sickly purple-veined muscle covered in dozens of human faces that weep, shout, and cry out with great woeful feeling.

Byakhee

Described as "not altogether crows, nor moles, nor buzzards, nor ants, nor vampire bats, nor decomposed human beings," I've yet to actually see a Byakhee portrayed with all of those features. Because they were also said to be "tame, trained," they are generally treated as the mounts of the Mythos. So much so that they are often referred to as star-steeds.

Blighted Ones

Blighted Ones are humans who have succumbed to a fungal parasite. From the moment of infection, they have mere days before the fungus takes control of their bodies.

Daughters of Atlach-Nacha

The Daughters of Atlach-Nacha begin as normal women who have been chosen by the Great Old One to become one of its giant spider companions. Eventually, The Chosen undergoes a horrific transformation, shedding her human skin, and changing into an enormous spider. This spider is almost completely black, except for the swollen, pulsing abdomen that is streaked with green and gold.

Ashen Ones

Ashen Ones are magical creations composed of the dust of ground bones.

Alskali

Alskali are about ten feet tall with squat, heavily-muscled bodies. They are hairless, with dead-grey skin and huge hands and feet. Each has a single black glossy eye in the centre of their otherwise humanoid faces. These giants have entered into human folklore as the Cyclops.

Aihais

Aihais live on Mars, coexisting in an uneasy truce with the Martians. They live underground in hidden cities, where most of them worship the Great Old One, Vulthoom. Those that do, live out 1000-year cycles of hibernation and waking. The Aihais are generally a peaceful people.

Adumbrali

The Adumbrali are a race of two-dimensional, shadow-like entities that dwell in an abyssal dimension. They are only capable of moving in the horizontal plane and cannot move vertically, even in their own dimension, though some have the ability to teleport and reorient themselves to a different plane.

Adherents of the Unspeakable Oath

Adherents of the Unspeakable Oath (previously called Unspeakable Possessors) are creatures created by Hastur when it collects on a binding oath known as the Unspeakable Promise. Adherents have grey-green, scaly skin, with a bloated parody of a body. Their limbs also become boneless and fluid, like an octopus'.

Spawn of Abhoth

Abhoth is constantly creating spawn, many of which are reabsorbed by it, though others are spared and wander free. No two spawn are the same, and appear to be chimeras composed of practically any body-part nature has ever seen fit to create.
