Denizens of S’glhuo

The Denizens of S’glhuo are beings composed of sound, though they appear thin and tall, with huge pupilless eyes, and a skin covered with tiny, rippling blue scales. Their fingers are boneless.

In the RPG...

Denizens of S’glhuo are immune to all physical damage, though spells that affect INT or POW can harm them. They only seem to have been given hit-points because certain discordant sounds can hurt them. They attack with blasts of sound which are not particularly powerful, averaging only 3 damage.
I like the concept of the Denizens of S’glhuo, but feel like there are ways they could be "spiced up" a bit. It says they're "semi-physical", so presumably they would have the ability to phase through solid objects, but it's not implicitly mentioned. They also lack STR, so I guess that means they are entirely intangible. If they are, I feel like they should at least have an ability to manipulate physical objects. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking maybe an opposed POW vs SIZ roll. Perhaps they would also "see" sound—kind of like Daredevil—so might take a Penalty Die on attack rolls if their target passes a Stealth roll. A very loud sound might also "blind" them if this was the case. There are many possibilities to make them more interesting.
Every one of the Denizens' stats has changed in the 7e Malleus Monstrorum. Each has bigger ranges now, except for the SIZ of the "reptilian form", which has instead been tightened. The only stat thats average has changed is POW. While it used to be 130, it is now 110.

In a video game...

They are unique beings, so for that reason I would like to see them, but due to their invulnerability, would not be great combatants. They require a "translator" to exist in our dimension, so perhaps it could be a stealth mission, avoiding combat, with the goal of destroying the translator to vanquish them.

In a film...

A being composed of sound could actually be pretty cool. I don't recall ever seeing such a thing before. I'll have to read Ramsey Campbell's The Plain of Sound some time to see if it would make a good adaptation.
